Islamabad Tonight is a leading current affairs programnme from Islamabad, Pakistan, hosted by Nadeem Malik. Islamabad Tonight launched in December 2008 has become one of the most popular current affairs discussion programme. A forum where leading lights of the country participate to discuss and suggest solutions of the national thorny issues impacting Pakistan, like security, terrorism, economic meltdown and political games being played in Islamabad.

This daily programme is one of the prime time talk shows of AAJ TV and goes on air from Monday to Friday at 8 p.m. The programme gives independent news analysis of the key events shaping the future of Pakistan. Leading lights of Islamabad, top government functionaries and seasoned politicians participate in discussions on topical issues of national and international importance.

Islamabad Tonight is one of the flagship shows of AAJ TV [1]. Hosted by Nadeem Malik, a senior Pakistani journalist, Islamabad Tonight is a popular current affairs programme. It covered wide ranging national issues, like security, terrorism, foreign policy, politics and economy. In August 2009, Islamabad Tonight presented a special one on one interview with Pakistani nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan (Dr. A Q Khan), where he detailed his role in the nuclear field, development of Pakistan's nuclear story and how he inter-acted with Iran, North Korea and other countries [2].
